Alan Stuyvesant Amateur Gun Dog Trophy

This is a rotating trophy given to the highest placing brittany in the Amateur Gun Dog during the field trials. Previous winners are displayed at the base of the trophy.

Alan Stuyvesant, a founding member of the American Brittany Club, had a major impact in the Brittany community by  importing Brittanys from France to add to the gene pool. Stuyvesant had a 16,000 acre estate in  Allamuchy, NJ which hosted many of the early field trials.
